WORKING TOWARDS ZERO EMISSIONS FLEET STRATEGY
Dubbo Regional Council has adopted a Zero Emissions Fleet Strategy and Implementation Plan. This will see the Council’s fleet of vehicles gradually move towards electric vehicles.
The benefits of transitioning to a zero emission fleet will include reduced greenhouse gas emissions, improved air quality, reduced noise pollution and lower running costs when compared to conventional vehicles as a result of decreased fuel and servicing costs.
