COMMUNITY LEADERS BREAKFAST THIS SATURDAY

Residents, business owners, representatives of community organisations and individuals who have an idea for improving the City of Dubbo or an issue of concern they would like to raise with local, State and Federal government representatives can do so this Saturday morning at the Cyril Flood Rotunda at Church Street from 7.30am – 9.30am.

The Mayor of Dubbo Regional Council, Councillor Mathew Dickerson, the Federal Member for Parkes, the Hon Mark Coulton MP and the Member for Dubbo, the Hon Dugald Saunders MP will be attending the regular community leaders’ breakfast along with Councillors and Council staff. This is an opportunity for residents to chat about local, State and National issues over an informal breakfast.

Mayor Mathew Dickerson said this is a genuine opportunity to come along and talk about ideas and concerns that may cross any area of government responsibility.

“These are always popular mornings and are a valuable way to hear the views of the community and I encourage anyone to come along,” he said.

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders said the Community Leaders’ Breakfast is a fantastic opportunity for residents to meet and chat to their local, state and federal representatives.

“The breakfast is a great chance to meet with your elected officials in an informal setting, and I’m really looking forward to catching up with our local residents,” Mr Saunders said.

Federal Member for Parkes Mark Coulton said the breakfast provides a great opportunity to connect with constituents in Dubbo.

“It’s not often that members of the community have access to all three of their elected representatives in the one place, so this is a good chance to have an informal chat and voice any matters with us,” Mr Coulton said.

“I look forward to catching up with locals over a cuppa on Saturday.”
