ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXCAVATION WORKS AT OLD DUBBO GAOL
Dubbo Regional Council advise that archaeological excavation works are scheduled to take place on site at the Old Dubbo Gaol from Monday 30 June to Tuesday 1 July 2025.
The works follow the approval of an S140 permit from Heritage NSW to execute additional archaeological excavation on site as we prepare for the upgrade of the Old Dubbo Gaol Heritage Plaza.
For safety appropriate fencing will be installed around the designated worksite.
Please be assured that there will be no impact to public areas during the works.
