SHIBBLE BRIDGE CLOSED TO PUBLIC DUE TO VANDALISM
The Shibble Walking Bridge has been closed to the public this morning following vandalism overnight.
Dubbo Regional Council staff inspected the site early on Saturday morning and made the decision to close the bridge while the damage is assessed.
As a result, the walking path between Dundullimal Homestead and Macquarie Street will also be closed until further notice.
The bridge will be re-opened once it is deemed safe for public access.
The Yabang Gee Bridge at the end of Tamworth Street remains open.
