NOTICE FOR RESIDENTS USING COUNCIL'S CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
I
In order to help Dubbo Regional Council protect privacy and security, customer experience representatives will be asking for additional identification, when customers are making an enquiry over the phone. Council’s Customer Experience representatives will now be asking people for their date of birth, in addition to their name and address. This will help better protect the customer’s sensitive information, and will only be used to identify them before Council provides further information.
Council is taking a proactive approach to protecting the personal information of community members and will be asking additional information to confirm your identity and protect your details.
These changes are expected to be brought in on 28 October, 2019
