26 Jan 2025   DUBBO RESIDENTS RECOGNISED AT 2025 AUSTRALIA DAY EVENT
The Dubbo Australia Day event was held on 26 January 2025 at Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre with the hard work of community members recognised during a morning ceremony. Dubbo Regional Council Mayor Josh Black welcomed residents to the event.

Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) has received $14,614,867.50 in funding from the Australian Government Growing Regions Program – Round 2 for the upgrade of the Dubbo Regional Airport runway.

A Freedom of Information request made by Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) Mayor Josh Black for access to information around the pulling of funding for the Dubbo Indoor Sports Hub and PCYC has been denied by the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
