On Wednesday 2 July a critical incident occurred at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre involving an employee of Council.
3 Jul 2025   PARTNERSHIP SEES LANDMARK DEVELOPMENT BEGINS AT ZOO
Construction is now underway on the most ambitious development in Taronga Western Plains Zoo’s history, the Serengeti Resort in Dubbo. The development has received $20 million investment from the NSw Government and been made possible through a partnership between Dubbo Regional Council and Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

Dubbo Regional Council advise that archaeological excavation works are scheduled to take place on site at the Old Dubbo Gaol from Monday 30 June to Tuesday 1 July 2025.

Dubbo Regional Council is encouraging schools and teachers in the Dubbo Region to nominate outstanding Year 11 science students for the 2025 Victor Chang School Science Awards.
